Health and wellness have expanded to include holistic wellness, moving beyond just physical health. To promote holistic wellness, Human Resources Office organised a campaign called “Employee Wellness Day” on 31 October 2024 to support every aspect of colleagues’ wellness, including physical, mental, emotional and social well-being, helping them to achieve a balanced life.
Employee Wellness Day attracted approximately 600 participants and they engaged in a variety of activities, including InBody Body Composition Analysis with basic explanation by professional researchers from Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness or nutritionists from Lok Sin Tong, Preliminary Emotions Assessment by School of Chinese Medicine, and Sleep Chronotype Self-Test. These activities offered colleagues to learn more about their health condition and supported their journey towards holistic wellness.
Display boards were set up to provide information about physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, along with tips for pursuing of holistic wellness. This helped colleagues to find harmony in body, mind and spirit amidst their busy work life.
The prize winning quiz lucky draw on Employee Wellness Day was a success! Participants who completed the Sleep Test eagerly took part in the quiz and won fantastic prizes. By answering questions, participants deepen their understanding of holistic wellness, indicating a strong resonance with the campaign's objectives.
As part of our initiative to raise awareness about holistic health and promote well-being life, souvenirs were distributed to participants.
