Road Campus The Academic Registry (AR) offers a wide range of support and services to prospective students, students, graduates, staff members and the public:-

It is a key unit when you come to handle academic affairs.

The Estates Office (EO) takes care of campus expansion projects, all major capital works, repairs and improvement projects, the daily facilities management and building services, as well as the environmental health and safety on every campus.

The Finance Office (FO) handles payroll, retirement benefits and staff benefits and staff benefits disbursement. 

You need to provide the Finance Office your bank account information to facilitate the release of payroll via autopay and the MPF Scheme enrolment form in compliance with the legal requirements.

The Graduate School (GS) works closely with Faculties to take care of research postgraduate (RPg) students from admission to graduation. It also focuses on RPg programme development as well as quality assurance and enhancement.

They assist research student supervisors by offering matching schemes to support studentship, providing and updating the Guides for Research Degree Supervisors benchmarking international good practices, and partnering with other offices such as the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning (CHTL) in arranging seminars to enrich RPg supervision. They also facilitate international, interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaborations to advance research postgraduate education.

The Human Resources Office (HRO) works closely with Faculties/Schools/Offices to maximize employee integration with the University, engendering commitment, trust and high performance. 

On a daily basis, the Human Resources Office provides:

  • administrative support to staff recruitment and appointment-related reviews;
  • assists in the formulation and review of HR policies and practices, staff grades and career structures;
  • administers variouskinds of staff benefits; maintains records of staff; and coordinates staff development programmes. 

After returning your signed contract, your next encounter with the Human Resources Office will be handling in your personal data form and collecting your staff card and affiliate card(s) for your eligible family members (if applicable). 

The Human Resources Office will also organize a full day Orientation Programme in the beginning of the academic year foracademic/teaching/administrative staff with video show, plenary session, group sharing sessions, lunch and Library visit, etc.
