To promote men’s mental health, Human Resources Office organised a campaign called “MENsday@HKBU” at Kowloon Tong and Tsuen Wan Campuses on 30 October and 1 November.
The two-day campaign attracted approximately 800 participants and they engaged in various interactive activities, including sharing words of encouragement and exploring different stress-relief items.
Display boards were set up to provide information about men’s mental health and tips to maintain good mental health and support to others, and to raise awareness among colleagues about mental wellness, both for themselves and men around them.
Nearly 300 messages were exchanged on the online message board, showing their support to men’s mental health. The positive responses from participants indicate a strong resonance with the campaign's objectives, also successfully raise colleagues' awareness of men's mental health.
As part of our initiative to raise awareness about mental health, souvenirs with cheer-up messages were distributed to participants:
Moving forward, let’s continue looking after your mental well-being and provide support and care to others.
