| FACULTY OF ARTS DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES AND CREATIVE WRITING Research Assistant (Anthropocene Studies Group) (PR0538/22-23) Hong Kong Baptist University has been awarded funding under Job Creation Scheme 3.0 supported by the Government to create employment opportunities. The Department of Humanities and Creative Writing now invites applications for the following position: The appointee is expected to work under the supervision of academic and administrative staff of the Anthropocene Studies Group (https://artsbu.hkbu.edu.hk/research/faculty-niche-research-area/anthropocene-studies; https://hkbuanthropocene.wixsite.com/anthropocenestudies). Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in the organisation of academic events, organising activities for the community, and documenting social impact. Other duties as assigned may also be undertaken. Applicants should possess at least a recognised bachelor's degree and good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Candidates with strong writing skills, good command of English and Chinese, and some background in digital technology, such as using website building platforms and editing video, are preferred. The appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
