Hong Kong Baptist University has been awarded funding under Job Creation Scheme 2.0 supported by the Government to create employment opportunities amidst the deteriorating economy due to the pandemic.

The Department now invites applications for the following position:

Digital Marketing Assistant (PR0487/21-22)

We're looking for a digital marketing assistant to operate our social media accounts by applying their creative writing skills and digital tactics to engage and enhance our community of followers, to facilitate knowledge transfer, and to actualise and sustain stronger departmental impact.

The appointee is expected to work under the supervision of academic and administrative staff in the Department. Duties include, but are not limited to 1) managing departmental social media accounts; 2) generating creative and implement promotional content; 3) participating and engaging in social discussions on the social media pages; 4) exploring new channels and proposing new strategies to engage with the general public; and 5) creating marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc) to augment the department’s presence to the public.

Applicants should possess a recognised bachelor’s degree and good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Candidates with strong creative writing skills, a good command of English and Chinese and proficiency in using social media platform are preferred.

Appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
