Senior Project Assistant (Communication Advisor) (PR0431/20-21)

The appointee is expected to coordinate and conduct activities at a Social Learning Space, which aims at developing students’ social language skills and intercultural communication competence. The appointee will be responsible for (i) designing social English learning and cultural exchange activities and workshops; (ii) conducting 15-18 hours of discussion, workshops, activities and one-to-one advising/conversation practice per week; (iii) developing learning materials and promotional media; (iv) coordinating with Student Ambassadors; and (iv) performing other project-related duties.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field related to language and/or education with 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in teaching communication-related areas. They should also possess native-speaker competence in English, a passion for communication and enthusiasm for designing creative activities. Applicants with digital literacy skills will be given priority.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
