Academy of Film

General Clerk (PR0413/20-21)

The appointee is expected to provide administrative and clerical support to the Academy’s academic programmes and work as a team member in the integrated operation of the Academy of Film. Duties include:

  • providing administrative support to the programme office for student-related and academic programme-related operation including student admission, classroom booking, etc.;
  • handling basic financial matters (i.e. payment to vendors, staff claims);
  • handling enquiries from students, teachers and outsiders;
  • providing clerical support in the preparation for reports;
  • maintaining stationery inventory and distribution;
  • coordinating visits and meetings;
  • providing logistics support in academic activities including master classes, workshops and talks, etc.; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • a higher diploma/associate degree (preferably in the field of Media) or above;
  • at least one year of relevant working experience preferably in tertiary institutions;
  • able to work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • proficiency in MS Office, Adobe DC and Chinese Word Processing;
  • a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are preferred; and
  • immediate availability will be an advantage.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one to two years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
