Executive Assistant (PR0412/20-21)

The appointee is expected to provide secretarial and administrative support to a higher diploma programme offered by the Academy of Film. Duties include:

  • assisting in the day-to-day operation, including programme promotion and development, student recruitment and admissions, student record update, course and examination scheduling, and organisation of events and activities such as workshops, seminars and study tours;
  • providing secretarial support to the Programme Director, course instructors and Programme Management Committee;
  • compiling reports and proposals for programme development and quality assurance;
  • handling student-related matters;
  • reaching organisations and industry veterans for internship and job opportunities for students and graduates;
  • maintaining and updating website; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned.


  • a bachelor’s degree preferably with one to two years of relevant work experience;
  • a good command of English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • proficiency in MS Office, Chinese and English word processing, multimedia, and software for website maintenance;
  • good interpersonal skills and be a good team player;
  • self-motivated and able to work independently; and
  • immediate availability will be an advantage.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one to two years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
