Systems Analyst (Mobile Application) (PR0375/19-20)
The appointee will join the Application Unit responsible for the development and support of web and mobile application for internal administration as well as for different projects of the University.
Responsible for development, implementation, enhancement and support of web and mobile applications;
Implement applications with Microservices / API design;
Liaise with users and communicate with internal teams;
Support SIT, UAT, deployment and on-going maintenance;
Manage and liaise with vendors as required; and
Support any ad-hoc IT projects as required.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline;
At least three (preferably five or more) years of relevant technical experience;
Sound knowledge of DBMS such as MSSQL, and MySQL, etc;
Experience in mobile app development using React Native, and Node.js is an added advantage;
Experience in Agile Development, DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus;
Strong communication skill with a good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese; and
Self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
