Executive Secretary (PR0312/20-21)
The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Department of Management on office administration, and assist in the administration of the business programmes offered by the Department.
providing secretarial support to the Head of Department;
maintaining timetables of the programmes offered by the Department;
preparing finance and budgeting documents;
providing administrative support to admissions, academic affairs, accreditation, committee work, etc;
coordinating and organising events and activities; and
performing any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
bachelor’s degree or other post-secondary qualification, preferably with at least two years of relevant work experience;
proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (both Putonghua and cCantonese);
strong interpersonal and communication skills;
able to work independently, reliably and flexibly;
be conscientious and self-motivated;
be proficient in Microsoft Office, and social media; and
experience in organising and managing events is preferred.
Shortlisted candidates would be invited to attend written and computer application tests.
Candidates with less experienced will be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed term contract up to two years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
